Auditions

We are always seeking substitute wind players or section string players.  Permanent positions will be posted here as they become open.

​Musicians interested in joining Thalia should play at an advanced level and be prepared to play 2 contrasting pieces along with some sight-reading.  There is a modest honorarium for Concertmaster and Section Leaders.

Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, beginning in late September through May.  We have a very exciting season planned with performances at Seattle Town Hall on Sunday afternoons and occasional 'special events' at other venues (e.g. National Nordic Museum, St. Mark's Cathedral.)
