Community Outreach

Thalia Symphony Orchestra is a proud member of Seattle's music community and one of the oldest. We love to find ways to connect with other musicians and arts performers in the area and bring in patrons yearning for a genuine symphonic experience to brighten their lives.

Please reach out to us if you have collaboration ideas or musical needs.

Northwest Arts Partnerships

Thalia Symphony Orchestra has been partnering with groups like the Northwest Edvard Grieg Society or Choir of the Sound to bring forth community theatre and vocalists groups to Seattle arts patrons.

Music by local PNW composers (& musicians?)

Something about playing music by local composers (Green, White, Bergsma, Hovannes?  others)
Thalia and the University Presbyterian Church choir.

University Presbyterian Church

We were delighted to work with the University Presbyterian Church choir under the direction of David Gardner to put on a free holiday concert to the public.  With over 300 attendees, the pews were filled with holiday cheer this past concert season.
Roosevelt High School Musical Theatre Dancers

Seattle High Schools

The Roosevelt High School Musical Theatre Dancers joined forces with Thalia to delight audiences in the aisles and on the stage.

Students from (what high schools?) join the rehearsals and performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 1 this Spring alongside Thalia.

Complimentary Tickets to Senior Retirement Communities

Thalia is happy to work with local senior living facilities to give out free complimentary tickets to our performances.
